ABOUT SHALOM DEVENISH 

Hello there! My name is Shalom but everyone calls me Smiley, and I am a passionate photographer based in Tasmania as of 2021. At just 18 years old, I have been capturing photos for years, but it was only in March 2021 that I decided to pursue my passion professionally. Since then, I have had the opportunity to capture several weddings, family photoshoots, and so on which have been such blessings. Photography is more than just a hobby for me; it brings me joy knowing that I can capture memories that will last a lifetime. As the youngest in a Christian family of nine kids, I was homeschooled throughout my life, which gave me the time and opportunity to try out new creative interests. Out of all the different projects I've explored, photography is the one that makes me feel most in my element.In March 2022, I invested in my first-ever photography course, "The Nursery" by Tim Coulson. It has been an incredible resource, providing me with confidence and inspiration through its community. If you're just starting out in photography, I highly recommend it!
